2 March 2010- Chile
The Libertadores Pass, which connects Santiago and Mendoza is opened. Public buses are starting to operate normal services towards that city. This would allow some passengers to take flight from there to Buenos Aires and from there to their final destination:

2 July 2009 - Mexico
Now that the Swine Flu epidemic has eased off, temples and sports areas have re-opened to the public - and are our tours are being resumed.
28 April 2009 - Mexico
All temples, churches, sports venue and public places have been closed to the public as a result of the Swine Flu outbreak. We have cancelled all tours to Mexico until further notice, with 100% tour costs being refunded.
5 April 2009 - Tibet
Borders to Tibet have re-opened and visas are now being issued by one central agency. As a result, all future visa application fees have increased by $75.00 per person and $150 for US Nationals.
22 February 2009 - Tibet
The Chinese government has quietly barred foreign tourists from entering Tibet before the 50th anniversary of a rebellion against Chinese rule, according to news reports confirmed by a Tibetan human-rights activist.
Travel agencies have been told not to organize tours for foreigners into Tibet until after April 1, according to reports.
The government says that Tibet remains open and that foreigners can apply as usual for permits to travel there, but it has not said when they would be processed.
8 October 2008 - Nepal
A light aircraft carrying 18 people crashed into the perimeter fence at Lukla Airport, 300km east of the capital of Kathmandu. The aircraft snagged its wheels on a security fence as it came in to land, say airport officials. Mohan Adhikari, general manager of the Kathmandu airport, says that of those who died, 12 were German tourists, two Australian and two Nepalese tourists, as well as two of the three Nepalese crew members. One of the pilots survived. The identity of one passenger is not yet known. Our sincere condolences go out to the families of those affected. None of Nomadic Adventures clients were on board.
