1)Can
we obtain the visa for Tanzania at
the border?
Yes you can, though we prefer people
to have it in hand pre-arrival to
avoid possible problems or delays.
2)
Why do you
suggest we fly with our boots on in
the plane? I am worried
about my feet swelling.
Reason we suggest this, is
because if your kit bag is lost in
flight or delayed, you will at least
have your boots. The rest you can
rent or purchase, but boots need to
be walked in pre trek and you can't
do this with a brand new pair the
day before you leave.
3)
I am a
runner so I assume I will be fit
enough for Kilimanjaro? You
will certainly be cardiac fit, but
we recommend that you add in lots of
hill walking. Reason being is that
you use different muscles when you
run, to when you walk hills; i.e
more quads than calves.
