1) I have heard that on Lemosho Route (Kilimanjaro) you have the best chances of acclimitisation. Is this true? It really depends on how many days you take on the mountain. The standard Lemosho route is 6 days but this is not advisable as it has the longest approach to the mountain and thus is harder to do in a short time. To make a good acclimitisation trek on Kilimanjaro you really should look at 8-9 days for Lemosho route, 7-8 on all others except Marangu, where 6 days is good.
2) We are interested in coming to South Africa for the soccer 2010. Are there any overland tours we can do? Yes, we can offer several overland tours to include the Kruger Park, other game parks, shark diving, wine tasting, mountains to see, garden route etc. Early booking is essential though.
3) What services do the lodges (in Nepal), provide? Your nights accommodation includes a bed only. Some have a blanket and pillow, others just a sheet. All meals are included in the cost of the trek. Other expenses you may incur at the lodge is the cost of a shower $1 - $3, buying bottles water, also between $1 and $3 a litre, or charging any electronic equipment - about $1 per item. Lodges do not supply toilet paper.
