QUESTIONS ANSWERED

1) What is
the weather like in the Atacama? San Pedro de Atacama
is a desert oasis 2,443 meters above sea level. It boasts a stunning climate
all year through with temperatures averaging 20-24degrees C. However, the
evenings can get quite cold with temperatures 0 - 6 degrees C, so warm
evening wear is essential.
2)
When is the best time to go trekking in Bhutan?
The season runs April to June, and
September to October. However, specific treks like the Snowman Trek
have a short window period and here the only time you have a chance of
good weather is the first 3 weeks of October. Although the official
season extends longer, the chances of snow are higher.
3) How safe
is it to cycle in the Masai Mara Reserve? You actually
cannot cycle in the reserve as it is a National Game Park and thus not
safe. The cycling tours that we offer have you cycle to the Mara
where you get the opportunity to see game from your bike. However, we
enter the Mara reserve in game viewing vehicles and return to camp at
night.
