Day 1: St Helena Bay

Departure 07:00 from Southern Sun Waterfront Cape Town and travel up through the West Coast. We will stop at Mamre to view the church; Darling to walk in the flowers; Ysterfontein to smell the ocean; West Coast National Park; Postberg Nature Reserve to see a wonder filled flower display and then onto Saldana Bay for some history. We will travel to St Helena Bay via the Dinosaur Park to view 60000 years of local history. Overnight in St Helena Bay (LD).

Day 2: Lamberts Bay 
Departure 07:00 towards Laaiplek. Then we travel via the coast to Lamberts Bay to visit the Bird Island favourite haunt of penguins, cormorants, garnets and other bird species. In the afternoon we will travel to Gentleman's Lodgings in Graafwater for a look back to 1686.Overnight in Lamberts Bay (FB). 

Day 3: Vredendal 
Departure 07:00 we will visit the Ramskop Flower Reserve for a walk in the flowers and to get some seed, Rooibos Tea Board for some tea and the Strassberger Leather Shoe Factory to view local industry. We will then travel over the Cederberg Mountains to see Leipoldt's Grave and visit the Biedouw Valley to see the most flower filled place in the Cederberg. Overnight in Vredendal (FB).

Day 4: Springbok 
Departure 08:00 we will visit the Vredendal wine cellar for a wine tasting and onto the Succulent Nursery at Vanrhynsdorp then  travel northward on the N7 through the fields of wild flowers - the heart of the Namaqualand. Stop en route at the Skilpad - Namaqua National Park and the Kamieskroon Mountains. Overnight in Springbok (FB).  

Day 5: Calvinia 
Departure 09:00 from Springbok and travel south on the Kliprand road to the Aloe Forest. We will also visit the Waterfall and the Matjiesfontien Wild Flower Farm in Nieuwoudtville for the best bulb display you have ever seen. We will travel to Calvinia. Overnight in Calvinia (FB).

Day 6: Cape Town 
Departure 07:00 for a visit to the Calvinia Museum. Then onto the Great Karoo with its unspoilt beauty and its flowers. We will stop at Sutherland and Matjiesfontien for afternoon tee. We will head for Cape Town on the N1. Drop off at Southern Sun Waterfront Cape Town. Arrive back approximately 20:00 (LB)
